It’s happening—a knitalong for Silence Tee!
The full pattern releases in one week, next Wednesday; I can’t wait to get this pattern into your libraries! We’ll start knitting along the same week and continue merrily into July. And yes, there will be prizes, about which we shall have further to say anon. (Can y’all tell I’ve been watching Bernadette Banner even though I don’t sew, and she’s rubbing off on me? But I digress.) KAL details below!
- The KAL will run May 20-July 15.
- The most important requirement—knit a Silence Tee! If you haven’t picked up your copy yet, links and suchlike will be at the end of this post.
- To participate, post as many project photos as your heart desireth on Instagram using the hashtags #silencetee and #silenceteekal, or in this designated Ravelry thread, over the course of the KAL.
- You do not have to have a finished tee at the end! If you’ve finished, you’ll be eligible for physical prizes, such as yarn, but I will also be doing a drawing from any remaining WIPs for digital pattern prizes.
- Double dipping is absolutely permitted, so if you run across another general makealong that Silence would be eligible for, enter away.
So much for the rules! Of course, feel free to shoot me a message if I’ve missed anything. You’ll receive the preorder pdf with swatching and sizing info, plus lots of other dandy tips for knitting this tee, so you can prepare to cast on, and, if you so desire, start using the hashtags and posting in my Ravelry group.
