Announcing Muntins

Me oh my, am I glad this day has come—now I don’t have to keep this a secret anymore!

Meet the Muntins Scarf, part of the September 2020 portal-themed issue of Knotions webzine. As you can see, it features cables and lace, as well as a fun picot edging. It’s a decorative scarf and knit in fingering weight, which makes it the perfect thing to bang out for Christmas presents (yes, it’s already time to be thinking about that…); and the unique stitch pattern will keep your brain from getting completely numb. And because I’m a real nerd, it’s inspired by Tudor windows. Behold!

This piece was an absolute blast to design and knit, and I hope you’ll have just as much fun making one or three of your own. The pattern (and the entire Knotions September 2020 issue) will be available August 22, so mark your calendar and start thinking about which outfits in your wardrobe need a fun scarf to go with them.
