The random number generator hath spoken; and the Clair de Lune giveaway winner is…
Amy Stromberg!
It was a joy to read all the comments on the release day post here, and to get thoughts from all the entrants about what drew them to Clair de Lune; this helps me to know what works, and what you want to knit! Here’s what Amy had to say:
Such a coherent design – yet one to get visually lost in! Combination of the panels and the drape is particularly alluring.
Congratulations, Amy! I’ll be contacting you about your free pdf pattern shortly. To everyone who entered, thank you for giving such detailed and enthusiastic feedback. Every single comment means so much to me, and is an encouragement to me to keep designing. There are more giveaways to come in the future, so keep an eye out!
Now, normally I’d share a sneak peek of the next Mélodies design; but the next (and final) design isn’t ready to be peeked at yet. Expect that to be ready some time after the New Year—let’s just say that my Christmas knitting and crocheting have gotten a bit out of hand. But what I do have to share is a special design that will be releasing this very Wednesday! It exists both in knit and crochet form; yellow is knit and green is crochet. Both versions use worsted weight yarn; about 300 yards for knitters and 420 yards for crocheters.
And there’s going to be a knitalong/crochetalong to go with it; so get your needles and hooks ready! (While I’ll announce the details on this blog on Wednesday, I’ve already set up most of the infrastructure in my Ravelry group; so if your curiosity is getting the better of you, you can check that out here.)
See you Wednesday!
