Yep, I’m making a lot of them.
I’m onto the body of my Prismatic! The colorwork actually stretched me a bit more than I expected; there are a few rounds of 3-color stranding, and quite a few long floats. But I’m quite satisfied with how it came out and can’t wait to block it. This BFL/nylon blend from Huck and Rae Fiber Studio creates a lovely, light fabric that will work nicely for transitional wear, or for the wishy-washy temperatures we frequently get here in the spring and fall.
My Fynbos is also coming along. Tensioning the right-side floats is a bit of a learning curve, so it’s slow going; we’ll see if I’m able to have this ready to wear for Easter. But I love the way the colors are working together, and I think the silhouette will be quite versatile.
And because I just had to cast on something else with a yoke, I started a Sorrel Mini for my cousin over the weekend. This version is in a cotton blend and will have short sleeves; hopefully it’ll be comfy for her to wear over the summer.
And finally, I finished my sample for my upcoming summer tee design! It came out even better than I expected. The pattern is with the tech editor now; keep an eye on my Ravelry group or my Instagram if you’re interested in test knitting…
