Well, after the marathon that was September and Dancing Knits, I think I’m well and truly out of blogging energy for a little bit. But I’m excited to finally show off my Autumn Dahlias MKAL shawl which has been waiting patiently for its turn in the limelight for several weeks; so I think today I’ll just say a few suitable words and dump some photos. I enjoyed this pattern immensely—potato chip knitting at its finest without getting boring. Having a surprise to look forward at the end of the day got me through the stress of last preparations for Dancing Knits’ release, and the resulting shawl is going to be a staple in my fall wardrobe this year. For my first MKAL (that I didn’t design), I’d say it’s an unqualified success. Dark grey is Blazer by YarnBaker; dusty rose is Portobello and gradient is Lighthouse by SweetGeorgia. Enjoy!

Gorgeous !
Thank you so much, Melanie! It’s a stunning pattern.
