Á Chloris, the final design in Mélodies comes out in three weeks! It’s hard to believe that Mélodies is almost complete—this collection has been in the works for over a year (and the first design, Le Soir, has been kicking around in my mind since summer of 2018). While I can’t show the whole thing yet, I’ve got some teaser photos of Á Chloris so you can get an idea of what to expect.
The shawl comes in two sizes—a narrow shawlette and a deep crescent (almost but not quite a half circle). My samples are in laceweight and DK, respectively, but my testers are working both versions up in a variety of weights; it’s marvelously flexible.
I’m telling you this so you can prepare, because there’ll be a knitalong! Any of the designs from Mélodies will be eligible, you can use any yarn you like, and there’ll be prizes. We’ll kick off a few weeks after Á Chloris comes out, to give time for deliberation; in the meantime, the other three designs are available for browsing and dreaming. And while there won’t be too much action until Á Chloris is released, keep an eye on my Ravelry group for announcements.
