Because spring is the time for all things lace, I’m so excited to invite you all to a very special KAL! I’m hosting a knitalong for my ebook Encircle: Half Pi Shawls alongside Jensen of Sugarplum Circus and Irina of FiberChats. We’ll have more details coming soon, but we just couldn’t wait to spill some of the beans so you can get ready!
- The KAL will run from April 19-May 18, with a special Zoom cast-on party to kick off the first day and a Zoom show-and-tell on the last day. (There will be a prize drawing at both Zooms, so be sure to be there so you don’t miss out!)
- To join the KAL, all you have to do is knit Aetherios Shawl , Tesselis Shawl ,or Thawing Crystals and share photos during the KAL period. Links below for all the patterns and the full ebook!
- Please do share photos and chat in the Ravelry thread, or on Instagram with the hashtag #encirclekal2024. Be sure to tag us @redearthdesignstudio, @fiberchats, and @sugarplumcircus!
- You can use any yarn you’d like! Jensen of Sugarplum Circus will have a free shipping code for US participants and a shipping discount for Canadian participants, so if you’d like to order some yarn from her, be sure to hop on her email list so you don’t miss it.
- Jensen and I will be doing a prize drawing halfway through the KAL! Every photo shared with the Instagram hashtag or in the Ravelry thread counts as an entry, so share away.
- Be sure to go follow Irina at FiberChats, since we’ll have a fun KAL video or two up on her channel and she’ll be running the Zoom meetups!
